PAMPERS: strawberry facial masque

STRAWBERRIES are a wonderful natural astringent.

to make a soothing, cleansing homemade facial:

blend together the following ingredients for a simple and effective facial treatment:
half tsp lemon juice
full tsp honey
half cup strawberries
one egg white

apply to freshly washed face. let set for fifteen minutes, then rinse with warm water.

FRESH FAVORITE CLEANER
ingredients: | 3 1/2 c. hot h2o | 1/2 c. white vinegar (or apple cider) | 1 t. borax | 1 t. washing soda | 1 t. liquid castile soap | 1 spray bottle- 32oz |

steps: #1 pour hot water into spray bottle then add remaining ingredients.
______ #2 spray on surface, wipe down w/ sponge. (or clean/ing cloth)
notes: this cleaner works FABULOUS in the kitchen, especially for countertops & tile, and wiping down appliances, sinks, etc.

PEPPERMINT DISINFECT(ing spray)
ingredients: | 1/2 c. bleach | 2 c. water | 1 teaspoon dishwashing soap | 1/2 teaspoon peppermint (or mint or spearmint, etc.) extract or oil | 1 spray bottle- 32oz |
steps: #1 pour water & bleach into spray bottle, add remaining ingredients.
______ #2 shake lightly to mix,
______ #3 to use: spray on surfaces then wipe with damp sponge. NOTE: always do a test spot in an inconspicuous area as this solution can discolor surfaces!! wipe away promptly except on surfaces you want REALLY clean- generally only do this on ceramic surfaces...

other uses: you can also use this to remove stains on *white* surfaces

GLASS CLEANER
ingredients: | 1/2 c. white vinegar | 2/3 gallon water | 1 large clean container- 1 gal+ | 1 clean 32oz spray bottle

steps: #1 mix all ingredients in the large container.
______ #2 fill the spray bottle - use on all glass surfaces/ items. save the remainder in large container for future use.
______ #3 use crumpled newspaper (b&w only- no color comics or glossies!) for a streak-free shine.

"STRONG" WINDOW WASH
ingredients: | 1/3 c. whit3 vinegar | 1/2 c. rubbing alcohol | 3 1/2 c. h2o | 1 clean spray bottle- 32oz |

steps: #1 mix ingredients in spray bottle. shake well to mix.
______ #2 to use, spray on smudged window (or other glass surface) & dry with scrunched newspaper.

NOTE: newspaper is still recyclable after using these recipes to clean glass / windows.
